What Is Hula Hoop Fitness?

If you're looking for a quick and easy way to strengthen your core muscles and you want a change from pilates or yoga, why not give hula hooping a try? Strong core muscles - muscles in your abdomen, back, pelvis, and hips - support your spine, improving your balance, posture, and agility. Having a strong core makes it easier to throw, kick, or perform most any motion.

 

Our Classes

  • Our weekly hula hoop classes are a 1 hour long cardio fitness workout. Class format includes warm-up, hoop instruction and cool-down. Participants can burn up to 400 calories as they hoop to tone the waist, hips and thighs. Hooping can also help strengthen the back. A fun alternative to traditional cardio workouts.
