Studio Etiquette
Your time is valuable, so we try very hard to keep scheduled classes on time. Please arrive 10 mins prior to the start of your class. Students arriving later than 10 mins after class start time may not be allowed to participate. This is for your safety, as the warm up portion of the class is important !
Please note that our entry door opens directly into our Studio, so if you arrive while a class is still in session, please try to avoid disrupting the students and teacher.
Street shoes are not permitted on the Studio floor – this both protects you from getting grimy while doing floorwork, and it also helps preserve the floor. Please use the carpeted lounge area to the left of the entry door to store your belongings and remove your shoes.
On the day of your pole class do not use body or hand lotion ! Doing so will cause the pole to become too slick for good holds and grips.
Please remove all jewelry and ensure that clothing has no snaps, zippers or other adornment that can scratch the poles.

What is pole fitness ?
Pole fitness is a feminine way to work out using resistance, cardiovascular training and pure fun. We are not here to turn you into the next stripper attraction, but instead into a confident and sexy woman who loves and respects herself and her body
What should I wear ?
Work out clothing such as yoga pants or capris, T-shirts, tank tops,or booty shorts are all acceptable . Street shoes are not permitted on the studio floor. The Girl Spot is a professional studio for educational fitness purposes only. Inappropriate clothing nudity will not be tolerated during any class.
Can my 15 year old daughter take pole classes?
Sorry, our pole classes are for women of all shapes and sizes 18 years and older.
Do I have to wear ‘stripper shoes’?
Absolutely not. Socks or bare feet are fine for class. As you advance, however, you may just want to try out some 5” heels. We’ll help you get a proper fit on the shoes when the time comes if you like.
Can my husband or boyfriend come to class ?
The Girl Spot is for women by women. It is your place to come and have time just for you, so no boys allowed.
Can my girlfriend come and watch the class ?
Our classes are closed to the public, however, from time to time we will have special events open to the public.
